Standard Cab Roof Installation

2010-2011 Polaris Ranger Standard Cab Roof

1. (REAR) Mount the roof on the Ranger with the horizontal lip of the roof towards the front of the machine.
Setting the front of the roof down to the roll cage install three or four rubber pads (supplied) evenly across the front horizontal tube wherever the roof would appear to contact the roll cage once tightened. (sticky side of pads should be applied against the roll cage, not the roof)

Mount the v-clamps as shown to the rear upper hole in the rear corners of the roll cage. Snug the bolt holding the v-brace to the roll cage but do not fully tighten it. You will want to be able to rotate the v-brace just a little on the bolt.
(NOTE: The Standard Cab roof will not have the white washer shown below. The v-brace will tighten directly to the roof)

Drop the roof mount bolt with the steel washer, then the rubber washer down thru the roof and v-clamp and tighten it down snugly. Not fully tight yet. Repeat this step for the other rear mount point.

2. (FRONT) The front holes for the front roof mount should be very close to the holes in the front of the roll cage. If not shift the roof around until they are.

Drop the front mount bolt with the stainless and then the rubber washer mounted on it thru the roof, roll cage gusset, aluminum block and tighten in down tight. These are self locking nuts that will not back off. A half to three quarter turn past snug is sufficient.

3. (FINISH) Going back to the rear of the roof tighten down the four rear bolts to the same tightness as the front bolts. The roof will not require any prep work for trailering should you need to. It is rugged enough to be safe at trailer speeds.
