Mount the upper aluminum panel first. Upper panel has the bolt holes at the top. Then the lower panel. Install window using the snaps and pull the lower panel down until the window is taught.

For the rubber clamps… first or second notch is fine for the safety strap. They should last the life of the bike but should you break one replacements are available.
